Keeping Freight Moving
Beamish Freight Solutions Limited was founded by Sally Beamish. Having worked in the freight industry for over 25 years, her experience is vast from small 1kg express courier shipments through to 40 tonne airfreight shipments for event clients. Daily challenges are part of the fun of working in the freight industry and it is our job to use our experience and network to overcome these for you, and this is where we thrive.

Having worked across a range of different freight and logistics companies throughout her career, from domestic overnight couriers, to diplomatic shipments, expedited shipments and more recently event logistics, our experience really is second to none. We have an unrivalled knowledge of moving cargo through Russia and Eastern Europe and a good understanding of moving hazardous materials.

Using this experience, knowledge and a well developed logistics network we offer freight solutions to anyone from individuals starting up a small business requiring imports from China through to blue chip companies that require that extra something to feel secure in the knowledge that their shipments will be where they’re supposed to be and exactly as they departed.

Loves a Challenge
Hi, my name is Sally Beamish and I am the founder of Beamish Freight Solutions Limited.
I have worked in the freight industry for over 25 years with experience ranging from small 1kg express courier shipments through to 40 tonne airfreight shipments for event clients. I love the industry and the daily challenges that it can present.

I began my freight career as an admin assistant for a company that supplied groceries and household goods to the diplomatic corps.
I then moved on to work for a well known domestic overnight courier company learning the ropes and looking after a small fleet of vans.
​
After my stint in domestic shipments I then took a position at a specialist exhibition freight and fulfilment company moving expedited exhibition shipments around the world and managing point of sale stock for major drinks brands including storage and dispatch to various locations by any means including hazardous materials under DGN’s.
In 2010 after a short break to have my first child I returned to moving goods for the diplomatic corps where I specialised in movements to Russia and Eastern Europe.

Most recently I was employed as Freight Operations Manager at a specialist AV rental company for exhibitions, events and conferences throughout the UK, Europe and the rest of the world. Anything from time sensitive person on board shipments through to heavyweight airfreight and multi container shipments.
​
Wanting to offer other people the ability to move their freight securely and safely, knowing it will arrive in the same condition it left, I set up Beamish Freight Solutions and here we are!
​
When I'm not moving things around the world, I spend my time in Angmering with my partner and two boys. At the weekends we like to go out for walks along the local coast and our oldest is a big fan of crazy golf and bowling.
